Bankman-Fried Isn’t the ‘Face of Crypto’ in DC: Boring

Perianne Boring, founder and CEO of the Chamber of Digital Commerce trade group, says the turmoil surrounding Sam Bankman-Fried’s FTX raises the risk of “overreach” from regulators eyeing the cryptocurrency industry. “I think it’s it definitely invigorates the skepticism that we have from regulators and policymakers. But there’s an entire industry of people on the ground in Washington educating policymakers about this industry. He (Bankman-Fried) is not the face of the industry in Washington and he never was,” Boring says on “Bloomberg Crypto.”
