The current society is witnessing a surge in entrepreneurial mindset. Many people are taking the leap to establish their enterprises, and some of them achieve notable success! Consider the case of Minecraft, previously an indie game which has now become a pivotal element in Microsoft’s business approach. Nonetheless, it’s important to realize that while initiating a new business is enticing and viable in some scenarios, it may not always be the most advantageous decision.
I’ve encountered multiple instances where individuals aimed to kick off a startup with merely a vague concept of their service. A lack of solid strategy, inadequate resources, and even an inconsistent workspace – just a concept with an assumption that everything will miraculously fall into place. However, startups do not function in that way. No one will readily provide you with a plethora of resources and do the work on your behalf. Merely being the “idea person” in a company isn’t sufficient. If you genuinely intend to establish a startup, you must diligently research to validate your idea’s feasibility, formulate a comprehensive plan, and execute it.
If you struggle to formulate a concrete action plan, you might not be ready to launch a startup. In such a situation, you may require more experience or potentially additional financial resources. Even though it may not entirely align with the entrepreneurial drive, you might want to consider securing a position at a well-established company.
It’s important to remember that taking up a job elsewhere doesn’t hinder you from eventually launching your own business and being your own boss. Time is on your side, so accumulate real-world experience and focus on crafting your business plan during your leisure time.
