Minerd Claims 70% of Cryptocurrencies Are ‘Junk’

Guggenheim Partners Chief Investment Officer Scott Minerd asserts that most cryptocurrencies have no value and are destined for failure, comparing the market for digital currencies to the dot-com explosion in the late 1990s. “Seventy percent of the tokens are worthless and will disappear,” stated Minerd during an interview on “Bloomberg Markets” at the Milken Institute Global Conference in Beverly Hills, California.
