OnlyFans, conceived by British entrepreneur Timothy Stokely, emerged as one of the most rapidly expanding online platforms during the pandemic. It features a straightforward business model that enables creators to place their content behind a paywall, charging subscribers a monthly fee or a one-time tip for access.
With a user base nearing 220 million, approximately 2.2 million of whom are content creators, the subscription-based platform has undergone notable changes since Finbold reported on its top three earners back in February. Several well-known personalities, including Cardi B, Blac Chyna, and Bella Thorne, have since departed the site.
Iggy Azalea
In a surprising development, the top-earning creator on OnlyFans for 2024 is Iggy Azalea, the Australian rapper and entrepreneur.
Azalea joined the platform in January as part of her yearlong multimedia initiative, ‘Hotter Than Hell,’ intended to promote her fourth album, which is currently on hold. Attracted to the platform for its minimal censorship, she chose to share non-explicit behind-the-scenes content.
With a subscription cost of $25 per month, she is estimated to have generated around $9.2 million each month. However, she has since stepped back from OnlyFans to concentrate on her emerging cryptocurrency venture, Mother Iggy (MOTHER), which boasts a market capitalization of $58 million.
Coco Austin
Coco Austin, a model and media figure known for her relationship with rapper Ice T, uses the platform to share a mix of provocative photos, behind-the-scenes glimpses, and personal interactions with fans. She began her journey on OnlyFans in February 2023 and has since built a significant following.
As of now, with around 280 posts, Austin has achieved an impressive average earning of $9 million monthly, with a subscription fee set at $19.99 per month.
Alongside her success on OnlyFans, Austin skillfully juggles her online presence with various television roles and modeling projects.
Mia Khalifa
Mia Khalifa ranks as the third highest-earning creator on the platform in 2024 — a former adult film star, media figure, and influencer.
Following a brief period in the adult industry, Khalifa successfully pivoted to social media influencing, sports commentary, and online activism, keeping her relevant in the public eye.
A prominent critic of the traditional adult film industry, Khalifa has reportedly earned around $6.5 million monthly from OnlyFans this year, charging a subscription fee of $10.80 and leveraging her substantial social media presence of 22 million followers.
